If you like Light Years as your unit of distance, I have very little for you except fields to walk in and the real thing to reinvigorate your sense of awe of the Universe. If you need them, there are pads to do derivations and pastoral settings which might tweak your mind to break a theoretical block. Hartwick College and the State University at Oneonta have reasonable libraries as does Vassar College south of Poukeepsee. You will need to make your own arrangements (and best on your own computer notebook) for on-line access to Journals over the Internet through our ISP provider.
There are binoculars in the house if you wish an aid to look at the stars but the stars all by themselves are worth the seeing.
If you like Parsecs as your unit of distance, our local ISP provider can help with Telnet and FTP downloads and controls if you really need them. If you have been doing intensive research, use the skies of An Fherim Sa Ghleann to reflect on the majesty of what you are studying. The ISP system can deal with transfers between multiple systems, and you can run programs from the study. However, you should use these only if you need to; the stars themselves will be the best refresher for your mind.
